Art of the Book 2009

Members of the RI Center for the Book Board, Phoebe Simpson Bean, Susan Newkirk and Louise Moulton volunteer to hand sew Occasional Nuggets, a quarterly publication from Providence Public Library’s Special Collections, edited by Librarian Richard Ring and designed with exquisite letterpress covers printed at the AS220 Community Printshop. Phoebe and Susan are both members of the Center’s Art of the Book subcommittee.
